ACRA continues enrollment for its training on macroeconomic and industry forecasting

ACRA is continuing enrollment for its training “Forecasting in credit analysis. Course 1: Fundamentals of macroeconomic and industry forecasting,” which will take place on May 14-15, 2019 (

The two-day training is designed for employees of banks, corporates, consulting firms and government agencies, i.e. all those who face the need to build macroeconomic and industry forecasts. The course participants will learn how to apply data sources to build forecasts, as well as the main approaches to forecasting key macroeconomic indicators, industry forecast procedures, and specifics of different industry markets. The theoretical studies will be followed by hands-on assignments (building forecasts of macroeconomic and industry indicators).

“As part of the training, its participants will master the skills required to build forecasts and further use them in credit analysis. The attendees will participate in the discussion of key macroeconomic problems and trends, and build their own forecasts,” says Dmitry Kulikov, Associate Director at ACRA Sovereign Ratings and Macroeconomic Analysis Group.

The training is intended for a group of up to 17 attendees, and will be held over two days (totaling 16 academic hours). The training will include presentations followed by group discussions and analysis of case studies. Each attendee will receive a completion certificate.
