ACRA continues enrollment to its training "Forecasting in credit analysis. Course 1: Fundamentals of macroeconomic and industry forecasting" to be held on May 14–15, 2018 (

The two-day training, the first in a series of courses devoted to forecasting in credit analysis, is addressed to employees of banks, corporates, consulting firms and government agencies — all who face the need to build macroeconomic and industry forecasts. Students will learn how to apply data sources to build forecasts, the main approaches to forecasting key macroeconomic indicators, the industry forecast procedures, and the specifics of different industry markets. The theoretical studies will be followed by hands-on assignments (formation of the forecast of macroeconomic and industry indicators).

"Students will acquire the skills necessary to build their own forecasts. The training will include not only the theoretical part but also the discussion of key macroeconomic problems and trends and forecasting assignments. It is the first course in the series of ACRA forecasting trainings. "Course 2: Practical aspects of economic modeling" will be held on September 10–11. The enrollment is open for either one course or both courses," comments Natalia Porokhova, Head of the Research and Forecasting Group at ACRA.

The training is intended for a group of up to 17 attendees, and will be held over two days (totaling 16 academic hours). The training will include presentations followed by discussions and case studies. Each attendee will receive a completion certificate. The attendance fee (including lunch and coffee breaks) is RUB 45,000 plus VAT per person.
