“Today the Board of Directors considered the first Annual Report of ACRA since the establishment of the Agency. The document presents the results of operations for the year 2016. During the reporting period, the Agency completed several key projects tasks, 1) inclusion in the Central Bank of Russia’s Register of Credit Rating Agencies; 2) assignment of initial ratings; and 3) organization of all the business processes. But the main accomplishment was that the Agency began to earn recognition from the financial and investor community”, — said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACRA, Karl Johansson. — “For 2017 we have set ambitious goals: increase the number of ratings assigned, and further diversification of our rating portfolio by types and sectors; development of new rating products and methodological frameworks; active cooperation with investors, regulators and government in order to expand the use of ACRA’s ratings in regulation; and publication of new research, and much more”.
