ACRA announces Chief Executive Officer

The Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Maxim Bogdashkin CEO, General Director effective November 6, 2019. Igor Zelezetskii and Maria Mukhina, currently acting CEO and Operating Director, will work with Maxim to ensure a seamless transition.

"After a thorough search process including stakeholder consultations, the Board is pleased to have found Maxim Bogdashkin to provide leadership of Russia’s leading credit rating agency," said Karl Johansson, Chairman of ACRA’s Board of Directors. "Maxim has a track record of strong leadership and experience of working with the regions’ public policy bodies and financial organizations. This combined with his deep credit ratings and research industry knowledge makes Maxim uniquely qualified to lead ACRA successfully into the future."

Maxim has over 16 years of experience in the financial sector. Before joining ACRA, Maxim held senior positions at the Boston Consulting Group and before that at Oliver Wyman – leading strategy consulting firms, where he led several large business transformations for financial institutions and public policy bodies in Russia, the CIS and the wider EMEA region. Earlier in his career, Maxim Bogdashkin also worked as an Assistant Vice President - Analyst at Moody’s Investors Service where he was responsible for a number of credit ratings and research for issuers in Russia and EMEA.
